Tatyana Grechina, Wandering Shapes and Shadows, 5 × 7 inches, oil on canvas, 2026.

A propagated Wandering Jew inch plant that found a longtime home on my kitchen table, this potted beauty became a muse for many drawings and paintings over the couple of months it stayed there. I love how the leaves slope downward and then grow up towards the sun, purple on the top and silvery green on their underbellies.
