Tatyana has painted her whole life and fell in love with oil paints at age 9. Today, she primarily works in oil for her figurative and landscape work, and saves acrylics for corporeal, abstract works of play. (Corporeal = throw your whole body into it! Let it be an imprint, not overthinking.) Over the years, she has delved into city and landscapes, tiny cell phone images, portaits and figural scenes.
Alongside her representational art, Tatyana has always remained friends with art’s quiet Unknown and the pours, slings, stamps, splats and markmaking that mirror the rhythm of it.
