Sometimes, it’s not about making something look good, or making anything at all. Sometimes, it’s about allowing ourselves to relax into another state of being and get lost in the process.
I could say something serious here about art of the subconscious, as we tap into the greater spirit of Art, and how it reveals truth — and this was indeed the premis of my high school art thesis at SC Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities…but honestly, sometimes all of that discourse just takes us further away from what it really is: a place to shed our educated expectations and just simply HAVE. FUN.
