Tatyana Grechina, A Corner Mine, 5 × 7 inches, oil on canvas, 2026.

I felt compelled to capture this little corner of my garden in various lights at various times of day, and this one reflects a late afternoon at summer’s end. You can feel the hint of fall sweeping in, but all the same, the plants and wildflowers cling to the last bits of summer. Soon, it will all die, but I know that in the spring everything will bloom again and once again become my beautiful garden corner.
